Halo Helps the Homeless
Halo, 6 years old, had heard that people can be homeless so she started packing up her own things to give them. Her mum, Rachel, soon suggested she hold a raffle and called our Street Outreach coordinator,
Cristel, to see how we could work together to help those on the streets. Halo was worried people were lonely and she wanted them to feel important, especially if there were kids without a home. Thanks to many participating local businesses such as Reading Cinemas, Dymocks, Learmonths Foodwoorks, Repco and Tag Art, and after a few weeks selling tickets Halo and her family came in and donated a whopping $507 and a box of supplies to help the homeless. What an amazing and passionate little ambassador! Our Outreach volunteers will make sure these supplies go directly to the people who need it most. THANK YOU HALO
