Sarah Is On The Road To Success
In August 2014 Sarah walked into IMPACT's Recycling and Collections Centre (R&C) seeking employment. With support from staff Sarah quickly became a valued member of the Recycling team.

Sarah soon realised her goal of wanting to gain her truck licence and with continued support from her supervisors at R&C Sarah has been successful. She now proudly holds her MR truck licence and operates the 15 tonne forklift and skip truck during her valuable role at R&C.

Britney's Transition  
Britney commenced with our Transition to Work (TtW) program in March this year and she has not looked back. "This program really suited my needs and of course I love coming in to see Sam as well," Britney said.

Taking Enrolments Now for Home & Community Course 
Are you looking to step out on a new career path where you get to help others to live a better life? Enrol now for our upcoming Home and Community (HAC) course.

The 17 week course commences on June 27 and an information session will be held on June 20 at 1pm. We provide a blended approach to training by combining theory, hands-on practical activities plus a vocational placement of at least 120 hours at a community service facility so you get a real life experience of what to expect from a job in HAC services. Staff collectively donate to the Renal Support Group 
IMPACT staff members Vicky and Grant were pleased to present a $550 cheque to Bundaberg Renal Support Group on behalf of all the staff at IMPACT.
Money was raised from profits from a staff lunch, a lucky numbers board, and a staff morning tea of yummy cakes and fruit salad.

Plan Ahead For NDIS Workshops
Plan ahead and start your journey towards the National Disability Insurance Scheme with the two half-day workshops being held at IMPACT. These workshops are being delivered by the QDN - Queenslanders with 
Disability Network, they're fun, free and include morning tea.
Each workshop runs over two days. There is a morning session 9.30am to 12.30pm both Monday June 13 and Tuesday 14th. The afternoon session is run the same two days but bewteen 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
