Di has now been employed at Alexandra Motor Inn for more than 12 months. Previous to this she was unemployed and receiving Centrelink benefits, however since she is over the age of 50 she was eligible to be employed under the Australian Government's Restart program.

Shaun Steps it up a Notch
Shaun (pictured middle) has been a valued Tutor with our Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program for some four months, but has now taken a huge plunge in embarking upon his own learning
journey - at University. Shaun wants us to know how much he has enjoyed his time at IMPACT and how much he values this critical program and the many mutual learning outcomes that have emerged from it.
"In my short time at IMPACT I’ve seen some amazing outcomes. This program builds people up, gives them confidence and then they move on to better things. I highly recommend volunteering in the SEE program. I’m sorry to be leaving," he said.
Shaun has now commenced his CQUniversity STEPS program in preparation for his Bachelor of Information Technology. Good luck with your new adventure, Shaun - and thank you for all your help at IMPACT!
